Phosphate-Free

These reactive nano-ceramic process products for multi-metal are free of phosphates, regulated heavy metals, and regulated organic components.  The nanometer-scale deposit produced by the process is more cost-effective than conventional iron phosphating and provides excellent corrosion resistance and paint adhesion on painted metal surfaces.

The pretreatment is suitable for all conventional powder and wet paint coatings and can be applied by immersion or spraying.  It creates an inorganic, extremely high-density layer incorporating particles on the order of nanometers thick, as opposed to phosphate, which is on the order of microns thick.

They can be applied at room temperature, saving energy and reducing throughput time.  It also works without passivation and generates less sludge than phosphate processes, further reducing costs for plant maintenance and waste treatment.

HitSol HSTMC101 – Accessa’s HitSol HSTMC101 is a phosphate-free transition metal conversion coating formulated for the pretreatment of steel and aluminum substrates. It contains no regulated heavy metals, is applied at ambient temperature for energy cost savings and is resistant to sludge formation as the bath ages. HitSol HSTMC101 is ideally suited for the pretreatment of steel and aluminum for enhancing paint adhesion.

 Henkel Bonderite M-NT-1 – Henkel’s Bonderite M-NT-1 is a zirconium-based nanotechnology provides an alternative to traditional iron phosphate.  It runs at low temperatures and is completely phosphate- and regulated heavy metal-free to reduce energy consumption and waste removal.

Henkel Bonderite M-NT 2 – Henkel’s Bonderite M-NT 2 is a phosphate-free reactive conversion coating especially formulated for use in the treatment of steel, zinc and aluminum surfaces. Bonderite M-NT 2 contains no regulated heavy metals and is free of all organic components. Bonderite M-NT 2 is designed to increase the adhesion and corrosion resistance of painted metal surfaces. The pretreatment solution may be applied by spray or immersion applications under ambient conditions and is typically followed by a deionized or reverse osmosis water rinse.

Henkel Bonderite M-NT 600 SW – Henkel’s Bonderite M-NT 600 SW is a phosphorus-free, chrome-free, liquid product designed for high pressure manual spraywand applications on steel, aluminum, and zinc surfaces for simultaneous cleaning and applying a conversion coating.  The pretreatment inhibits corrosion and increases the adhesion and durability of paint finishes.  A substantial increase in the life of the paint results from the fact that this process provides: A clean, soil-free surface; A corrosion-inhibiting base for paint; A bond between the base metal and the paint; A significantly improved blemish-free appearance with all paints.

Henkel Bonderite M-NT 601 – Henkel’s Bonderite M-NT 601 is a nanoceramic cleaner/coater that is ideal for 3-stage pretreatment lines or to clean painted parts and assemblies.  Formulated for both spray and immersion processing and demonstrates excellent performance on steel and aluminum substrates.

 Henkel Bonderite M-NT 1200 – Henkel’s Bonderite M-NT 1200 is a phosphate-free reactive ambient conversion coatings formulated for use in the treatment of steel, zinc, and aluminum surfaces.  The pretreatment is free of regulated organic components and increases the corrosion resistance of painted metal surfaces.
